Approach and background
We can all feel stuck in our lives at times including finding ourselves repeating patterns of behaviour that although are impacting negatively on our mental health we cannot seem to change. As a Gestalt Psychotherapist I can help unlock these behaviours, by helping you understand the underlying issues driving these behaviours and find new healthier ways of living your life.
Likewise, you might need help processing a difficult life event such as a divorce, the death of a loved one or a traumatic experience.
My approach as a therapist is to help you build awareness by shining a light on what is going on for you. Through my training as a psychotherapist, and alongside my own journey, I have come to see increased awareness as central to the process of healing and positive change. This is because deepening our awareness offers us fresh perspectives and creates new possibilities.
I believe strongly in the importance and value of working collaboratively. This means I see myself as an equal partner in the quest to help you find your own personal answers. I always work to find solutions that work for you and your specific context.
