Training, qualifications, and experience
I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) whose code of ethics I abide by. Since qualifying as a Humanistic Counsellor in 2015 I have worked in a range of settings including private practice, voluntary sector, charitable organisations and with NHS referrals. I have experience working with a wide range of issues including anger, anxiety, bereavement, childhood issues, depression, health, identity, isolation, loneliness, family, personal development, relationships, sadness, self-esteem, social anxiety, stress, trauma, and work-related issues.
Prior to training as a Counsellor, I have worked in many caring roles supporting families, young people and individuals experiencing long-term mental health difficulties within the community and within residential settings.
