Tilda White

TRAINEE AT REGENT’S UNIVERSITY,LONDON

Background

I offer a calm, steady space for you to you speak freely and feel able to arrive just as you are. My interest is in what it’s actually like to be you, from the inside. Whatever brings you here, named or not, we'll find our way through it together, at a pace that feels right for you.

My approach draws on person-centred, relational and existential thinking, though how any of that takes shape depends entirely on the person in front of me. What matters most is that you feel able to be yourself within the space we create together.

Before my training, I spent several years working in neurodiverse support with young people with a range of disabilities. This experience deepened my respect for the many different ways people experience and move through the world, and for how much our relationships shape who we become.

I pay close attention to the connection between mind and body, and to the way the past may be quietly showing up in the present.

Training goals

I am currently completing my Psychotherapy & Counselling training at Regent’s University, London. Alongside my training, I attend regular supervision, which supports me in staying honest, grounded, and genuinely present in my work.

What brings people to therapy can often be hard to name at first - a feeling, a pattern, something that keeps showing up. I aim to support your self-exploration in whatever way feels right for you. I’m particularly drawn to exploring how the past quietly shapes the present, how you make sense of your relationships, and how you have come to understand yourself over time.

I work with people from all backgrounds and approach each person’s experience without assumption or judgement.

Membership

I am a registered student member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
