Sam Turner

INTEGRATIVE PSYCHOTHERAPIST

Approach and background

Taking the first step in looking for a therapist is a big deal. I'd like to acknowledge the investment you are making in yourself by taking the time to reach out for support. This shows self-awareness and courage, even if things are feeling difficult at the moment.

I am an integrative therapist working mainly with psychodynamic and person-centered approaches. I believe that our past affects our present. Sometimes we can find ourselves repeating patterns of behavior, experiencing difficult feelings or reactions or struggling to understand ourselves and the world around us.

I offer a warm, compassionate and respectful space where we can explore what's worrying you- at a pace that feels comfortable for you. A space without judgement and that offers an environment where we spend time understanding your needs and how to meet them.

I understand that each persons story is unique and offer a genuine curiosity about who you are and what makes you, you. I work in a flexible way that offers creative ways of looking deeper into yourself and your relationships, and finding new ways of coping and relating. I believe that the relationship within a therapeutic setting is the foundation that provides the means to make changes you may be searching for, however big or small. I am here as your support on your journey in self development.
