Mei Lin Inkster
INTEGRATIVE PSYCHOTHERAPIST
Approach and background
I am an integrative psychotherapist, working with various different types of approaches to best suit your unique set of circumstances. I offer a safe, non-judgemental space to help you reflect on patterns of behaviour or recurring issues. I also work relationally, using our relationship as a way to observe patterns of behaviour but also bring about awareness and potential for change. Taking this first step is courageous and I hope that together we will find a way through.
People come to therapy for many reasons, you may be feeling lost, unseen, invisible, and tired of being othered. I have worked with a wide range of clients, seeking help with depression, anxiety, grief, burn out, low self-confidence, neurodiversity, questions of identity and belonging, complex family dynamics, intergenerational trauma, as well as inter-racial and inter-faith relationship issues.
In addition to private practice, I work part time within an NHS Talking Therapies setting and a low-cost counselling service.

I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP); and the Black, African & Asian Therapy Network UK (BAATN) and adhere to their codes of ethics.
