Laura Claxton
BODY-BASED COUNSELLOR
Approach and background
When understanding isn’t enough, we gently include the body in the process.
Laura brings a calm, intuitive presence to her work and values creating a space where people feel genuinely safe, seen, and at ease.
Many people understand their mental patterns clearly, yet still feel stuck. Alongside talking, we slow things down and begin to notice what is happening in your body - your breath, areas of tension, or shifts that occur when something feels stressful or overwhelming.
There is no pressure to 'get it right'. The focus is simply on curiosity, awareness, and allowing your body to be part of the process.
Over time, this can help your mind and body to feel safer and more settled.
Sessions are calm, respectful, and paced to suit you. The aim is to support a deeper sense of regulation, connection, and lasting change in how you experience yourself day-to-day.
